smartQueue Technologies ("smartQueue", "we") provides controlled automation for customer support and business operations at smartq.ca. For anything in this policy, contact info@smartq.ca.
What we collect on this website
This marketing site does not use tracking or advertising cookies and does not run third-party analytics.
- Demo requests: the contact form opens your own email client; we receive only the email you choose to send us (name, company, email, and your message).
- Chat widget: if you use the chat bubble, we store the name and email you provide and the messages you send, so we can answer and follow up. The widget keeps a random visitor identifier in your browser's local storage to remember your conversation.
- Server logs: our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and reliability.
What we collect from clients of the platform
When your organization uses the smartQueue platform (Client Portal, Chat, Email automation, SmartHub), we process:
- Account data: names, work emails, and roles of your team members.
- Configuration data: your approved replies, business instructions, workflow rules, and settings.
- Support content: the customer emails, chats, and cases your organization routes through smartQueue, processed to answer and route them on your behalf.
- Billing: payments are processed by Stripe. Card details are handled by Stripe and never stored by smartQueue; we keep only subscription identifiers and invoices.
How we use data
- To operate your organization's automation: classify, answer, follow up, and escalate requests using your approved content.
- To keep the service secure, reliable, and auditable (every action and reply is logged for your review).
- To respond when you contact us or book a demo.
- We do not train shared AI models on your data, and we do not sell personal information.
How data is protected
- Strict multi-tenant isolation: each organization's data is separated from every other organization's.
- Sensitive data and credentials are encrypted per organization.
- Access is role-based, and security is reviewed before each release.
Sharing and processors
We share data only with the service providers needed to run smartQueue, cloud hosting and infrastructure, AI model providers used to process your organization's requests, Stripe for payments, and email delivery providers, each bound to use it solely to provide the service. We may disclose information if required by law.
Retention and your choices
- Client data is retained while your organization uses the service; on cancellation it can be exported and then removed on request.
- You can ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you by emailing info@smartq.ca.
- Chat visitors can request deletion of their conversation history through the same address.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the "Last updated" date above. Material changes affecting client organizations are notified directly.
